      ok, but sometimes it is quit hard to find that spot where the map does pop up...

      Always having a map would allow for "playing on the map" which I didn't like. The map is only added to help finding the last few enemies or see how rooms are connected.

      genius! only thing that's anoying is that you can't see a map (maybe make kind of radar?).
      you can see it in the start place but nowhere else.
