TimeStill Review

Pros: Great graphical effects, good sound effects, original idea and near perfect execution
Cons: No background music, player sprite seems a little out of place, took me around 20 seconds to figure out I had to press Z
A stunning puzzler!
In TimeStill, you control a ball-shaped character able to freeze time. While time is frozen, your able to do stuff like jumping on bullets as you attempt to collect all the shards. Each level has its own color scheme and more obstacles are introduced over time. The level design is really good and the player is eased throughout the game with the smooth difficulty curve. The graphics themselves are rather mediocre consisting primarily of shapes but there is enough effects done to them that they are stunning in-game. The sounds are well done but there is no background music to accompany them leaving a cold silence when time is frozen.
Graphics 4/5: Great effects and consistent for the whole game.
Sound 3/5: Well done sound effects but no background music.
Gameplay 5/5: Well thought out levels, smooth difficulty curve, and the ability to freeze time which will suck away and hour of yours
Story 1/5: No real story but I didn't mind.
Interface 4/5: Pretty good interface, nice looking menu though it isn't clear what to do the first time.
Overall 5/5: An amazingly polished fun game that any fan of the puzzle genre must play!
