Pros: Great graphics and gore. Well balanced gameplay with tons of content.
Cons: Ai could be improved alot.
The Bigger the Splatter the Better
Zombies is a great game filled with different types of zombies, guns, and equipment. Every time you damage a zombie, a fantastic explosion of guts and gore replaces the once zombie. You start out with a pistol and grenades, but you can buy more guns and equipment as you work your way through the map. Has many great features from Trearch's Nazi Zombies such as traps and power-ups, but has lots of its own creative gameplay, such as operating a stationary turret and having an AI helicopter help you fight of the horde. The graphics are detailed and somewhat cartoony. The zombies have perfectly circular, big heads, kind of standing out against the dark lighting and fog rolling over your screen. But the one big problem that makes the game a lot less fun than it could be is the AI problems. Sometimes zombies will tear down a barrier and just walk away in search of some other entrance. Or they will ignore you so they can destroy a barrier even though its not in the way. This usually does not hinder the gameplay, you just get a little annoyed when it happens. But on a the courtyard map, some zombies can get themselves stuck on the other side of a wall. This can sometimes be escaped by killing it through the wall with a grenade, but can sometimes cause you to have to quit, which is unfortunate. Overall the game is well made and has earned my stamp of approval.
