30 seconds to extermination Review

Pros: nice graphic style, upgrades
Cons: game becomes monotonous fast
30 seconds to hand pain
gfx- The graphics are OK, have a nice style, but aren't particularly detailed or exciting, i like the explosion effect though
sound- Basic CLICK CLICK CLICK-CLICK-CLICK-CLICK noise as 'music'. Some basic sounds in enemies exploding
gameplay- Button mashing defense game. The most redeeming feature of the gameplay is the ability to get upgrades, but they're few and far between. More and varied upgrades, like increased shooting speed, extra lives etc would be great. Other than that the game gets boring quite fast, just throwing more and more zombies at you, and you just get so sick of mashing the mouse keys. The only motivation to continue is the Online highscores, which is a great feature. This is currently sittting on ~3.3 stars, as i can't bring myself to give it 4, but it deserves higher than 3.
story-none
interface- Ok, what is with the interface? What are the things down the bottom? Speed? But you're not moving! Why is that there? And what is the appear chance thing? Some in-game explanation would be good, or perhaps the interface needs to be minimalised. Other than that, the controls are OK (besides causing arm pain), there was no lag and there was a basic menu with help.
Overall- Overall a nice defense game which could use with some speeding and spicing up.

If you look again, the info at the bottom is Zombie Status (It's even written above it). It shows how fast the zombies go, how often they appear and some other stuff.

Thanks for a great review. If we ever make a 30 seconds to extermination II. We will add something so you dont need to get your arm killed.
