      I have an example of how to do that in my 3d breakout tutorial, it's called Stickman's breakout +source. It's on my games page. =)

      You probably don't want it for 3d. If you can understand the code, you can easily change it to suit your game, but otherwise, look for a level editor example on the game maker community forum. (gmc.yoyogames.com)
