@Simau: I'm familiar with the Touhou games by reputation only. Because there are two weapons the player controls with the same key, and because you can hold down the key (don't need to keep tapping away at it), I think an auto-fire option wouldn't quite fit. @Shushgame: Thank you, sir. High praise coming from a game designer/academic I respect as much as you.

@BlankD&ta: I've gotten rid of the particle effects & indeed given the game somewhat of a graphical overhaul. Not sure what you mean about placing the player at the bottom-- you can move in four directions. @shellsnore: Thank you, that's what i was going for. :-)

This is lovely. I am rubbish at it, but it is really achieved -- nice ideas, solid implementation, and an intriguing central idea. I like it a lot, which is unusual for its genre.

Do you know the game Touhou? This game is really similar to it (the gameplay). It's a nice game. One thing, it would be better if you shoot automatically instead of pressing X the whole time :P
