Ceramic Shooter - Electronic Poem Review

Pros: Amazing concept! Original! Beautiful! Fun! Hard!
Cons: It helps to know what you are supposed to do otherwise you will fail the first time Some of the more random Graphics seem strange.
Why so little attention?
Ceramic Shooter - Electronic Poem is a game full of random and not so random graphics and music wrapped around incredibly rewarding game play.
You start off with a ship that cannot stop shooting. And unlike most games, you job is to actually OVOID shooting stuff. This is much harder than it seems and that leads into one of my cons. There is very little in the beginning to tell you that you are in fact not supposed to shoot stuff. So you lose some critical damage points before you figure it out. This means that unless warned you will almost always fail the first time. But once you understand that it is very fun and fast pace with some beautiful music playing in the background.
This in and of itself is fun, but then if you survive long enough the game becomes truly fantastic. Your unstoppable guns bullets get changed into paintball, and then you are tasked with shooting everything you can and paint the rather subdued colored world with an array of bright colors. Once again a small grip here, I'm not sure what the bar at the bottom represents at this point, is it the damage I have taken? or the color I have painted on the world?
Sadly that is as far as I got, But I WILL be returning to this game in a desperate hope of beating it, seeing whatever ending it has in store.
Play this game! You will not regret it!
