Xrush review

The game works pretty well, it's simple and easy to play, and the gameplay isn't hard to figure out. The graphics aren't the best, but they fit in and do their job. The levels are fairly varied in composition, but a playthrough of one level is usually pretty similar to the others. Interface is smooth and easy to handle.

I wouldn't really call it a strategy game though, there isn't much strategy involved. The combat isn't much, units just collide with each other and die. Basically, this makes it so that the winner is determined by how many units they have, not how they use them. And how many units you have is determined by how many bases you have, so really it's all about rushing to see who gets the base first.

Overall, it's a fun way to kill time, but it really plays more like an arcade game than a strategy.
