Pros: full 3D,nice aiming, allot of weapons, enemys have directional vision, the menu was cool, extreamly good level design, allot of advanced features like holes in walls and crawling through grates,
Cons: allot of textures are boreing and make the nice models look bad,the same wall over and over is boreing,no story,no music,
pretty good
This is the best beta you'v made of this game so far i noticed the grenades now bounce of the floor(instead of going through it lol) and detonate sooner and that makes them much more useful. While were on the subject of weapons i have to point it out again...the shotgun is nearly useless because of it's short range i dunno if i said this before but you could try making allot of pellets that do little individual damage instead of a few that do allot. the design of the third level was amazing but so big that it lagged constantly you should try making it a bit smaller. i loved the ceiling turrets however they seem too powerful plus they don't stop tracking you if you go behind a wall which is really annoying. i would like to see the bad guys have a system where a different head and torso style is randomly generated for each one (like in perfect dark where theres like 20 different types of head/body styles and each head and body combo is interchangeable and the head/body combo for each baddy is randomly picked) because the same baddy over and over is annoying even if he is sometimes holding a different gun xD. other then that this is actually good enough that i would pay for something like this when its done (if you tuned up the graphics a bit)

The only reason that every texture on them apart from the head and arms is black is because I couldn't bothered at the time to make proper textures, and I guess it kinda stuck until now. I will eventually make it so they look different though =]
Anyway, thanks again for the feedback, and apologies for the triple post!

...and also yeah I'll probably make it so they stop tracking you when you're too far away, as making them stop if there's a wall in the way will create errors I'm sure. I'll probably also make it so that their bullets will actually stop when hitting a wall, instead of going straight through, which'll also help. As for the enemies, yeah I agree that's its boring having the same one each time...

Hey, thanks for updating the review!
Yeah grenades are being very troublesome for me, but I'm slowly perfecting them =]. I might try decreasing the spread of the shotgun a bit to make it more useful, as I think that making more pellets would make it too laggy. Really? You think the turrets are too powerful? Well I could moderate them a bit then...

thanks for the review! I agree about the textures. As is obvious, I didn't really try with most of them, and they were all created in paint within seconds. Either that or stolen, lol. I thought the shotgun model was alright though, you didn't think so?
I will try to fix the collision problem, but because of the way they work, decreasing the size of the bullet sprite will do nothing, and I fear that decreasing the width of the wall sprites will have repercussions elsewhere. I will try though.
