No - it's multiplayer when you sign up for the website and there are weekly competitions for strongest character, which is why it asks for your name at the end of game.

Not to rain on your parade, but this is not really multiplayer, it might be, but all the "people" just sit there and do nothing in the dangerous zone... If you wanted it to be better "fake" multiplayer you should atleast make the "people" move around more, instead of when I get to close they follow me...
