      @Raviews: Yes, ordinary .exe's will still be available that anyone can run. All this decision means is that GameMaker Standard will be required to compile the MyKaryotes v.1.0.x .gm81 source starting with v.1.0.4.

      v.1.0.3 is now up! This version has some graphical tweaks and lots of performance improvements.

      Note: This will be the last Lite-compatible release of MyKaryotes. Further updates will require Standard functionality; work on a completely free version of MyKaryotes will now be focused entirely on v1.5 in Pygame.

      Thanks for letting me know!

      v1.0.3 is going to have a couple more graphical improvements, and some even more dramatic performance increases now that I'm figuring out how to use Standard's surfaces support to reduce drawing time.
