Mansion Maze 4 Review

Pros: The maze is truly chalenging

Cons: The overall production quality of the game is just a bit too simple

A Worthy Game No Longer Gets Ignored

The maze in this game is truly excellent in its design, and I'm surprized to find that no one has rated this game before because of it. The maze had the ability to continue to confuse and deceive me as I was playing it even long after I'd already trekked down along the same paths many times over. In fact, I'm still not exactly sure that I know the exact steps to take entirely to try and get out of the maze again. I believe that I was stumped over it for at least about half an hour straight. And, since this is Andrew44's forth game in the series, then I can't see how the three which preceded it, which I have not played before, can't be either on par or even better than this one. Good work.

My only critiques are that for subsequent titles, if you plan to make any, I'd like to see border walls added around the perimeter of the rooms to make the rooms seem more enclosed and realistic, and, if you would, please consider moving your goal marker in the game up to the ground floor rather than having it be in the basement, since, I think it's more believeable to have the raccoon escape through a front door on the ground floor than to have it escape out through the basement somewhere! But that's all, nothing much really. Other than that, just generally updating the game resources, like creating more realistic graphics, or adding more sound effects, would be a nice touch. In any case, to Andrew44, I say, job well done. Keep 'em comin'!
