99 Guns Review

Pros: Various game modes, large selection of guns to play with, interesting graphics, and SHMUP-like gameplay
Cons: Many guns are noticeably weaker/stronger or similar to others, though it's not the majority of them
What Are Guns?
This has obviously progressed from the first ever version I played and the constant updates ensure fantastic new content at a regular basis. The game modes are exciting to try out even though I find myself residing in my favorite modes such as Sandbox, Normal, and Bullet Hell. The gameplay is varying between the modes which give it a fresh feel that I'm drawn to.
Sounds were rather mixed, but consistent all of the same. Some of the sounds could imply more power to them, but for the most part, the sounds were spot-on. A peculiar instinct I noticed, though, was that I preferred guns with a more powerful sound to them than the ones without.
Graphics never strayed from their intended style, but the style itself isn't much of my favorite. It still works very well and the graphical death of the mice is very fulfilling. Tracers and other weapon effects also look polished and smooth.
Interface was fantastic, and with the addition of mouse-wheel scrolling to change weapons, along with the old digit weapon selection, it is easier to choose guns. The HUD is extremely clean and easy to refer to, which is great. The art style of this game affected the score given for the interface, unfortunately.
The game itself was superb and, by the time anyone reads this review, it will have been outdated by another, great update to the game.

...However, I have 7 (and counting!) modes, and if you were to give me any of the guns in the game, I would tell you where it's best used and why it's better than any of the other guns for that situation.
I am glad that you're not like those retards that play Normal Mode for 5 minutes and complain about the lack of gameplay. I definitely appreciate everything that's been said here. :D

Haha, thank you~!
I have to say, though, that -every- gun has a certain situation in which it works best. None of them are useless. Powerful but extremely slow guns like the Civil War Musket (08) are, yes, useless in almost every situation, but it's very effective against Boss 3. Extremely fast but weak guns like the Dustcutter Minigun (50) are good when playing Swarm Mode or fighting the 2nd phase of Boss 4. In a single mode, yes, there are many guns that just don't work as well as others...
