Enigma Demo Review

Pros: Graphics, Level design, Fun gameplay, Sound
Cons: Voice, Music, Load time, Some glitches
Nice game, but nothing that new.
It's a nice, fun game but lacks unique ideas. The gravity flipping is nothing new, i've played VVVVVV (commercial indie game, free demo on steam). The graphics are nice, but only in black and white mode. The music is ok, but there are some glitches concerning it. Sounds are nice, but not spectacular. That voice at the start is horrible. Not trying to be mean or anything but it is horrible. Seeing this is a demo you should try to replace it before the full version is released. The loading time is too long for the amount of gameplay offered (but thats probably just my computer). The GM pop-up input box at the start needs to be replaced at some point, and the help should not be the default "game info". The inbuilt room transitions are not nice either (are they the GM inbuilt ones?) Mainly because there is a memory leak (as of GM7) and too much use of them crashes my computer (lack of VRAM). Also, when you start a level it is sometimes a but difficult to locate the player, as the doors are animated and the player is camouflaged when standing in front of one (I actually died in a save area because of this).
In all, Enigma is a fun game with lots of potential, but there is alot of work to be done before it is complete.

Thanks for a lot of constructive criticism ! What glitches are there for the music? Yeah the voice is just there so it's not just text, I was planning on replacing it. I've got little GML knowledge, so that's why a few things are built in such as the pop-up and game info. I also know about the player being hard to locate, I will fix that. Overall, thanks for the review :)
