Xenon Review

Pros: Good graphics, Superb music, Great gameplay, achievements...Oh, just play it and see.
Cons: No story, very similar to VirusxVirus.
The best of the three.
Alright, here's the deal: This game is an awesome shooter which admittedly borrows heavily from VirusXVirus. You must control your valiant, rose-colored ship as it kills an assortment of bosses. The effects and sprites are pretty cool, the interface is pretty much perfect, and I have found myself humming both music tracks out loud at random times.
But the real gem here is the game play. You have to destroy the bosses in parts, dodging bullets and missiles all the while. However, the difficulty brought an even better twist for me: you have to be strategic in which parts you destroy first, so that the bullets do not overwhelm you. For example, you might try t kill the missile launcher which is protected before you kill the weak external guns. It is hard at first but you master it quickly.
I enjoyed every second of this game, even when I was losing, and it is completely deserving of it's feature.
If the review is hard to read (going off screen), copy and paste it into word.
One more little thing: the creator said he "Never beat this game." If he is not lying, then I was the first person to ever beat this with no hull damage.

No story? well that doesn't really matter, because shooters don't usally have stories. Haha!
