A review for "Mario Party 90 (Version 5)"

Gameplay: Okay, so as far as the gameplay goes, all you do is hit a dice block, move, and repeat. If you land on a blue space, you get +3 coins. If you land on a red space, you get -3 coins. Green spaces,and bowser spaces have different effects. Donkey Kong spaces do absolutely nothing. Hoever, if you pass the star space, and have enough 20+ coins, you may take a star. If you choose "yes", the star moves to another space. That's all there is to it. There's no polish or extra oomph whatsoever. GAMEPLAY TOTAL: = 2/5

Graphics: The grapichs are decent. The character sprites consist of Mario & Luigi sprites. However, they're poorly animated. The dick block's number roll looks horribly ripped, and have a background frigne around them. The space panel sprites are okay. They clash with the other sprite styles, and they're blurry, but it's not a big deal. And the worst thing of all is that there is NO background to play on. You play on a gray screen. The star sprite is the only thing that I can see that's perfectly fine. Perfectly animated, and doesn't clash. GRAPHICS TOTAL = 2/5

Sounds: Big disapointment. There is not one sound effect in the game besides luigi going "Oh yeah, Luigi likey that". There's only music. An off-screen quality version of "Eggad's Garage" plays during almost the entire game. Other times, the "you got a star" theme from Mario Party 7 plays, along with the "Star Location" theme from Mario Party 6. That's pretty much it. SOUNDS TOTAL = 2/5

Replay: Suprisingly, I've played this game SEVERAL times due to the fact that it's in 3D. Other than that, I personally see no reason of playing it again, unless you're hopelessly bored. Try polishinig it some more. =) REPLAY = 2/5
