Guerrilla Warfare Review

Pros: Very nice graphics, great bullet system, multiple weapons
Cons: Feels rushed, can run into your own bullets, ammo system pretty bad, only 3 guns.
Feels Rushed
This, at a glance, is a very nice game. The graphics are great and the bullets are really nice. They look proffesional and you've used smoke where they come out of the barrel of the gun. The trees also move when you hit them, which is a nice touch. However, from there it gets worse, you appear to have started making a very nice game, got bored and decided to stuff particles into everything (eg, when the enemy is hit, the blood particles really don't fit with the game). You also appeared to have rushed the interface, showing only how much ammo you have left and health, what would've been nice is to label the different guns or something. You could also have made the text bold and in a different colour other than black. More guns would've been nice, and more advanced maps would've been great. At the moment you just run in a completley obvious path until you reach your goal. It would've been better if the user had to actually FIND the goal while fighting through enemies. You could also have different goals like to find an object and bring it back to a certain point, to eliminate key targets or mabey just kill a certain number of enemies. The game would've also benefitted from more guns and a better ammunition system. At the moment, your guns have one huge clip that contains all your ammo. You also have a huge ammount of ammo it's very scarce. What would've been better is if you had a maximum of say, 3 clips at once and then found them quite frequently off dead enemies. Overall, this game should've had a lot more work on it, and untill then, it's not all that brilliant.
