Grindle Extreme (Silent Version) Review
By Mr B on 20 November 2010

Pros: Graphics

Cons: No Sounds or music

Brilliant!

The graphics are just awesome and simple.

The game doesn't have sound effects or music. Music can disturb your concentration, but some low, fitting, mutable music would be nice.

The gameplay is excellent. It's a nice idea too. The game gets really hard if you play on harder than normal. If you have a bad short-time memory, you'll have a hard time.

The game doesn't have a story and it doesn't need one because it's a brain game.

The interface is good because it's simple. I would have liked an tutorial or in game help page instead of the game maker help file.

Overall a very good memory game with smooth and simple graphics that is worth playing.

Thank you for the review Benjamin.

Music and sound were things I have considered while doing the game and I think you summed up what I felt with music, it could be distracting if done wrong. I will have a look at maybe adding some subtle noises at some point.

Tutorial and in game help are also things I will think about, and how I might be able to build them in, but glad you enjoyed my first game. Busy working on plans for the sequel now, with even more twisted modes
