i know its late but i hadn't been here in a while, thanks for the comments. the colours of the bricks is quite simple, it loads the sprite and sticks it on the screen then it takes the colour of each pixel and saves it to an array, then it creates a bunch of white bricks and using a draw_sprite_ext command i change the colour of the block, to make the mouse follow the object, in the step even i placed window_mouse_set(x,mouse_y)
