Could be a great game...
I sat down and gave this game a real playthrough and come up with a list of what would improve this game dramatically. First off, and most importantly, the controls. Pressing thrust makes the UFO launch way too quickly. If the UFO is put into an enviornment that is tight and technical to navigate (and almost every level is) the controls should match so that the player can make tight technical controlled movements. This by itself is the game's biggest downfall, it's too awkward to control.
Insert and Home are oddly placed keys as human beings don't like having their hands cramped togther while playing a game. I don't get this decision at all. if it were my game the taxi patrons wouldn't need a keystroke at all to pick up. They'd just wave their arms or somthing and you go get them. Once near the destination door just have them get out automatically.
The collision mask for the UFO seems a little off. Seems you can hit an obstacle even if a couple pixels away. Once again, if in a tight enviornment full of spikes and stuff, a tight collision mask is a must.
The game's graphics have a slight dark tone to them. Somthing to brighten up the game would be a huge plus.
I guess I'm used to the beautiful simplicity of Space Taxi that I grew up with. I recommend that you try it out if you get a chance with a C64 emulator. I think you have a diamond in the rough and that is why I brought up the .gmk in earlier posts. With some fine tuning this could be a top notch game.

Its refreshing to see a good review these days.
BTW, being 'hard' is not a con. I find it fun if its difficult. Its supposed to be difficult :D

I really thank you for your review. It is really helpful. I will try and create a remake of Ufo Taxi and I will correct any mistakes of the original one. Thank you, RTyp06!
