Nocturnal Messenger Review

Pros: The little messenger guy, transition between start and gameplay, collision detection (the mask for the player's boat is very fair),

Cons: a bit too simple, the score and hearts didn't really match everything else, static white outlines on some obstacles

Good cohesion of look and feel

The opening with the moon and the short starting scene set the mood for the environment - which I liked a lot despite the simplicity of the whole game. In it you play a nocturnal character that must travel downstream in a canoe, picking up fireflies and dodging dangerous obstacles. So basically what I liked was the theme and the way you presented it; what I didn't like was the game dynamic of doing the same thing, dodging and gathering, on and on. Still though, thank you, and good luck on future creations!
