Pros: Good graphics, colorful worlds, excellent gameplay, decent sounds, good music

Cons: Lacks 'pizazz', too much use of 'arial' font

Cosmic Fighters 2

Cosmic Fighters 2, the anticipated sequel to the first game, delivers quite nicely with the first demo. The worlds are fresh and the gameplay is fast-paced and excited. The graphics are swell to look at and the music fits the game pretty well. Despite, this, it's not without its problems. The menus, while concise, use the arial font too much, as do other parts of the game. This is easily remediable either through downloading new fonts or simply picking a sharper, perhaps more obscure font. As well, the game could benefit from a bit more pizazz. By this I mean little details, such as ships flashing when hit and more sound effects. Special effects would greatly aid the game in making it more complete feeling. Despite this however, the game is off to a good start, and with these suggestions in mind, it could turn out to be a fantastic release for 2011.
