      the original concept in the design phase was to have a 4 player game that focuses largely on teamwork. with 4 players there are no boulders, forcing your team to make strategic formations with your shields to survive. unfortunately since most people play single player, this gameplay element disappears and is left with somewhat shallow action gameplay. If a sequel is made, i would probably try to make AI for the other squadmates and eliminate single player altogether
