It reminded me of this one game.
First off, let me begin by stating that, despite being named Pac-Man, this game is not at all similar to the Pac-Man we all know and love. It's much less entertaining, and much less original. For the purposes of this review, I will refer to the player character as Jim, as I do not want to further insult Pac-Man via association to this creation.
Unfortunately, the highpoint of the game was the graphics.; they consisted of several simple alpha effects and a whole lot of gradients. At first it looked as though Jim was opening and closing his mouth, much the way his superior predecessor had. Upon closer inspection, however, it became clear that he was simply doing some type of fish kissing exercise with his lips. 2/5
Consciously, I made the decision to play the game with my system's speakers turned off, so this game gets a 1/5 for sound.
Keeping on topic, the game-play of this game was a super-crazy twist on the original. Imagine, if you will, Pac-Man, with a timer. Now imagine that the timer is actually human excrement, now imagine this game is human excrement. It is my belief that this is the thought process the creator went through to think of this game. The game plays quite similar to the original, except with robots(?). The movement is flawed in that you have free movement, when it would be much more efficient to have grid-based movement for easy turning down hallways. 1/5 for originality.
You can imagine that a Pac-Man game wouldn't have a story. This was not the case. I'm not sure exactly what the story was, but it was pretty irrelevant. I just pretended that it was a sequel wherein Jim, Pac-Man's autistic cousin, begins having disturbing visions of the future. Burning buildings and the corpses of his fellow Pac-People litter the country-side. To soothe his visions, he decided to fight robots by eating dots. 1/5
Originally I was expecting to see a game with no menu, so I was surprised to see that this game had one. I didn't get too good of a look at it, because I was just trying to figure out how to close the application before my computer became depressed. 1/5
Understand that this review is a very accurate representation of this game and not simply an attempt at defamation.

I just now realize how much this review sucks. You aren't even looking at the game critically. You say it's not true to Pac-Man, yet you complain about it being unoriginal (which it would have to be to remain true to Pac-Man) You think that somehow it's impossible to achieve a satisfactory graphical theme using simple effects like gradients and shading, when in fact you have shown some reliance on these techniques! STOP SPAM REVIEWING and try to help the author learn something.

Well, not everyone likes the "no-menu" interface.
