Tower of Heaven Review

Pros: Graphics, art style, music, gameplay idea, challenge, addictive
Cons: Really short
A game worth playing
*Spoiler alert*
This game is actually very good, hence the rating. Giving rules and making player die about 73 times might sound annoying, but this game actually managed to make it addictive. I even found myself saying: "Wow, I can touch walls!" The religious intertextuality was good idea too and gave it a new atmosphere and meaning.
Quite every part of this game is well made: the music and art mach really well and even animation is good. Gameplay is smooth and there are no bugs or gliches, the difficulty doesn't come from the controlls or such but from the game itself. And the idea of all those rules, I have thought something like that too
. I'm really impressed how this game manages to keep player's motivation high enough even though they might die all the time.
Even though the story was good (good idea, good context), the game was really short. I know it's a pain to make game and make it long, but I maybe would have wanted a bit more. Well... I guess it's good as it is.
PS: The tower of heaven looks quite much like the Tales of Symphonia's tower of mana, got your idea there?
