      Yes, what slipstream said, although it would be ok to still have the player shoot.
      And how about some sound effects and animated sprites? The turrets could actually look like turrets and follow the mouse for example. The enemies are bland and boring as well.

      sadly my computer broke, so i've lost pretty much all of my older games. i might remake this with a couple of slipstreams ideas in mind

      4 suggestions:

      make interesting sprites
      have actual bullets
      have a marked path
      dont allow the player to control the turrets, make the player place them, then the turrets automatically shoot.
