Risk - Champions of Strategy Review

Pros: A full and complete digital remake of my favorite strategic board game. Impressive artificial intelligence and programming in general.
Cons: Floating text takes away from graphics quality. Controls are not yet intuitive. No OBVIOUS common theme.
Favorite Board Game
I liked how you included everything about risk from continental bonuses to card shuffling to select countries and defenders rolling a maximum of 2 dice.
The attack / move arrows look nice.
The random floating text at the bottom looks like it needs a home, a little interface bar or something.
I like how the text when you hover over a country has a black box behind it to make it easier to read and more graphically appealing.
Another thing I wish you had more of was an obvious common theme throughout the game. I know RISK doesn't have much of a story, but every game of RISK has its own theme, eg. Classic risk, Star Wars risk ect... you should have a more clear theme in your interface and characters.
I liked how you could zoom in and out without making the graphics look bad. In fact I have no idea how you did that but it is quite amazing.
This game is very near completion, just needs some graphics and interface tweaks and then I think its commercial quality.
You should try my version of RISK. Its a great example of a common theme throughout the game.
