      ...Why did you take out the "game save on death" feature? We don't really have time to do hours of grinding to get to the next floor.

      It does have one...
      You just haven't gotten it yet. In fact, missing it means you haven't gotten very far as the game tells you exactly where it is after you beat the first boss.
