Pros: Clever design, good and simple interface, sound is pretty nice
Cons: Olympic events are rather dry and shallow, graphics are nothing special and lousy in some places
The Circular Olympics!
It's great to see something fresh put on the table! With the onslaught of puzzle games coming along in the competition, this one is really a sight to behold! (lol, I'm entering a puzzle game myself...) In this game, you attempt to ace every competition. This is where the problems come in, the competitions are not very deep and are rather dry. There is not real variety every time you enter, because as far as I'm concerned, it's the same course every time. It would have been great to see, something like multiple tricks in the ski jump, random obstacle courses, and having a better looking snowboard one with more ways to get points. It's got mini-games too, which makes it better gameplay wise. The interface is rather nice, but it fails to explain the other things in the help description.
Overall, it's a 4/6. It might not be the greatest game I've ever played, but it's sure something fresh. All it needs are some minor graphical tweaks and some improvement on the events. Lastly, it's a great game, it just needs a little work. Good Luck Ideaz.
