      hi bro sorry for very2 late reply. i only set the vspeed to k*(mouse_x minus self.x) and hspeed k*(mouse_y minus self.y). k= a constant you determine for the acceleration.
      also in the step event of the "missile". [if] speed>S, set speed = S, where S is the maximum speed you intended. you probably had either got bored with gm or had already made better ones that function better anyway. Just for courtesy
