Raging Skies Review

Pros: -Nice and funny storyline -Fun, addictive game-play -Nice soundtrack

Cons: -Missions could have been more varied -Somewhat drab backgrounds -No joypad-support -Clumsy save-system

Really fun action-game!

Though this is a pretty short game I really had a blast playing it, it has that "just one more round before I go to sleep"-addictivness an action-game should have. It has intense and furious gameplay which requires good reflexes and some strategic planning.
The music, which I think is second most important, also delivers well, they are perhaps not the most memorable tracks I,ve heard but they are certainly good.
The game would have been nice even without the storyline but it certaninly adds some substance to the game. It,s lighthearted and fun and is enjoyable to watch.

However, as fun as this game may be to play, it certainly has some flaws. For starters it was virtually CRYING out for joypad-support. Games like these aren,t meant to be played with keyboard, I got cramps in my fingers mashing those darn buttons!
Also, the save-on-demand-function just didn't feel right for this kind of game, it was unnecesary and made the game look more amateurish. A checkpoint-save would have been better.
Finally the backgrounds feel a little dull and drab and the gameplay could have benefited from some more varied missions, at least a few more "protect the ally" would have been nice.
