Rebound Revolution Review
By mazimadu on 18 June 2007

Pros: Nice simple graphics, easy to learn controls and one of the best original Midi soundtracks of any GM game.

Cons: The game bosses are TOO easy. Sometime you get stuck

So this is the first rebound. I love it

I remember back in the day(last year) when Rebound Squared came out. I rushed to play it but Joewoof reviewed it before me. Now I have the chance to review the prequel before him.

The game starts out with your world suddenly turning into a cube. You play as a bouncing ball who has to go out and solve this mystery. Along the way you have to destroy the various cube generals that get in your way. The game is fairly easy, but the stages are very well designed. This means that you will not get bored in a hurry.
The game graphics are smooth and friendly. Hippo really did a good job with it because they are both pleasant and fun. But the best part of the game is the music. All the music is original. The game to me has a soundtrack comparable to Darthlupi's The Cleaner, but in a more friendly way.

The only problems are as follows. The game bosses are too darn easy. The first and second boss are so simple to beat, you have to literally let go of the keyboard, get a snack, take a piss, and come back, his dead. Apart from the "minor-get-stuck-and-cant-get-out-glitch-cos-my-PC-has-no-numb-0", the game is good and a must play.
