yeah it's a bit simple, I really do like your sprites though, if you'd like any help, (and if you like my space shooter games) feel free to ask, I've been building them from the ground up for a while

Probably what put others off (it put me off a bit) is that it looks like a tutorial edit.
But for anyone else reading, it has been modified a fair bit - it's not just 1945. Try it.
I think you need to add a faster pace and more difficulty beyond just the trick type (the trick ones being where they come up behind you). It's a bit hard to know what to say, since your editing a tutorial, I don't know what your own game design goals are.
