Shotgun Ninja Review

Pros: Good graphics Excellent gameplay Amusing & entertaining comical plotline
Cons: Interface is rather lacking
A must-play game, even if you don't win
The graphics, while not technically impressive, are pretty detailed.
The soundtrack wasn't anything special. You might get annoyed by it,
but you can press F1 to turn it off. Unfortunately, you can't turn it back on.
This will not affect the sound effects, however, which were very
satisfying.
The gameplay was the shining feature of this game. It's up to you what
you consider to be an awesome "ninja move," but everyone will experience
performing one, making an excellent feeling of power. The real gameplay
fun comes from the great challenge of beating every level, which is not
frustratingly difficult but rather enjoyable challenging (people not familiar
with action games might disagree, but the majority of players will greatly
enjoy the game).
For those people who are not familiar with action games, there is, regrettably,
no difficulty selection. There is also no saving and not much of a menu at all.
The game's controls must be found in the game description, which also
detracts from the game's interface.
The story isn't great, but it is funny and rather amusing, which obviously
will be entertaining. A good ending, too, which is a bit rare these days.
If you stumble across this oddly unpopular and underrated game, consider
yourself lucky. A great, rare find.
