      So, I tend up doing half-or-below-professional stuff with little effort that looks cool and gives me reputation among the newbs, and hopefully that'll make them try out my games.

      If you can see that this engine doesn't look professional, that means you're actually too good to need to use this for your games. ^_^

      I also made this over a year ago, and I've improved since then. Finally, I've lost the GMK file so I can't update this even if I want to.

      I've poured over a year's effort in Gun Princess and yet I've made over 50% of the comments on that game. Most comments are me saying that I just updated it. Yet still, Return Of Baron, a Mario fangame of worse quality, gets around four times as much attention.

      I have around 16 projects right now (some are nearly abandoned) so I don't really have the motivation to improve something I have uploaded when I don't get feedback on the things I like.
