Avantgarde Review

Pros: Artistic, addictive gameplay, nice choice of jazzy music.
Cons: Lack of story, but that's ok, because this is the kind of game that doesn't NEED a story to be great.
A very artistic game.
Graphics - The art of this game is amazing. The simplest sprites, added with stretching and shrinking make it look very professional. Instead of loading the game space with heaps of graphics, this game maker has simply added red, blue and yellow squares, along with the shooter, bonus and menu sprites. I give the graphics 6/6. Great job.
Sound - I find the jazzy music very nice and suitable to the game style. 4/6.
Gameplay - Normally, games where you only use the mouse are 'Hit the ball' kinds of games. This is an exception. Taking full advantage of all functions of the mouse, Tembac has created a simple yet challenging gameplay style. 5/6.
Story - The lack of story in this game does not hold back any part of it. It's the kind of game where you can jump right in and have fun. No rating, because there is no story to rate.
Interface - ...I don't know what the interface is, so 6/6 until someone tells me.
Overall I give it 5/6. Brilliant job Tembac!
