Jumper-Ball Breakdown Review

Pros: Nice graphics and lots of options, professional layout.
Cons: Limited gameplay. Not enough powerups.
Professionaly done version of classic game
ZX is clearly using some of his previous work as templates for later projects. This is a smart way of saving on development time. I do it all the time myself. It does mean that this game has a distinct look to it, that can be found in the other breakout style games ZX has made.
this game features an autocamera. The perspective tilts back and forth as the ball bounces around. This can be switched off if you don't like it. The tilting can get a bit tiresome, but works better than it sounds.
I only encountered one powerup in this game. It gave me two balls on the screen. There may be other powerups, but they are very few and far between. More powerups would help.
Some of the bricks explode, blasting surrounding bricks. The position of the "bomb bricks" changes in every game. This is a good feature as it means you can't plan for where the bombs will be.
Overall another excellent breakout style game from ZX.

Only 4 stars? And I encounter powerups all the time. Also the "Limited gameplay" isn't very true. Besides just a breakout game, this game also has 1 and 2 player pong game and even a level editor, theoretically allowing you infinite levels.
