Crash Bandicoot: Energon Review

Pros: Very good fun intro. Not bad graphics and smooth gameplay.

Cons: Sounds badly chosen, can be very annoying music-wise

Crash Bandicoot Energon Review

Crash Energon is very different to any other crash game (as stated in the manual), and by the look of the loading image(presuming it was made by JumpButton) and the basis of the story the creator has had some experience with other crash games.
The begging of the game shows a defualt game maker message informing you about the manual, if somehow the user could at least make the default message mroe intresting and make the message more proffesional by not using so many capitals and exclamation marks (which are really not needed as users should read messages anyway and due to the lary loud music (made me jump) this should improve the look)
The manual is detailed, and if read does make it all seem very clear (great criteria for storyline games) but maybye would be more eyecatching with colours and fonts? maybye different size's instead of Bold, capital and normal text combinations.
The menu could have had a bit more effort put into it, it has not many relations to other crash games but is acceptable because its different. Also, try to make a better type of menu instead of just 'Load' and 'Save' and the caption being 'save' = new game. The beggining movie sprites may need more effort if they were released anywhere else but you can tell JumpButton has made a large effort with the ingame sprites so they can be overlooked. The animations for crash are quite good considering the rest of the way the graphics works.
The game engine looks suspiciously like the game maker official platform tutorial with different sprites, but considering that I still use some of the methods in that example I wouldn't mind either way.
Overall this game is not the type you would play first level then exit and delete from your desktop, I got about an hour of entertainment out of this. Although it is clearly a game coded by a begginer (if its coded) but I recconmend you not to downrate it becuse of its cheesy sprites and amature graphic effects and engines, but think about how long this game would have took to make.

"suspiciously like the game maker official platform tutorial with different sprites," Is completely wrong, but it was a great review. Thank you.

And thank you for saying how long it took you to play through, i'm trying to work up an average so I know how long people will generally play for... so I can make the next game in my lineup much longer.
