It's not a ripoff, it's actually more of either a fangame or an inspired game.
Lots of exploration games are like untitled story.

Glad you liked it guys.
Version 3.9 is now up, which fixed the bug that prevented you from going any further after beating the final boss.
By the way, don't try to load a save file from a previous version because it will most likely mess up really bad.
