Remember, in the classic Sonic games, how after you beat up Robotnik, he always got away in that weird, round, flying thingy o' his? Well now the roles are reversed:
You are Robotnik. You've just been thrashed by Sonic (again), and are trying to make your less than diginfied "retreat". But this time Sonic isn't going to let you go so easily...
Your job is to help Robotnik make good his escape, by avoiding and dogding Sonic and his chums until Robotnik reaches safety. Good luck. The first zones are really easy, but don't let that fool you: The Death Egg Zone and Arcade mode (where this game REALLY shines) are VERY hard.
