Precision Review

Pros: Graphics, Music, Day/Night system
Cons: Music doesn't go with the game's feel and graphical style and is repetetive, game has many tedious bugs, no story, I had pretty much no idea what I was doing other than running really fast and jumping, why was I jumping again?
Good Idea, Poorly Executed
At core, this game is a good idea, but it is poorly executed.
Graphics: Pleasant, retro-style graphics, very nice, but doesn't quite fit in with each other on a few sprites (kind of like it would be playing mario world and the mushrooms and goombas have the original NES sprites) 8/10
Sound: The sound effects in the game are pretty nice, and work with the retro feel, however the music does not. The music should be more retro, and much less repetetive. 4/10
Gameplay: Like I said, this game is a good idea, but poorly executed. The game is WAY too hard, for one, and was very buggy (for example sometimes it would not let me jump, even though I was moving somewhat fast and on a platform) and I found myself repeating levels because of glitches (sometimes it wouldn't let me exit the level, it didn't matter whether I got the bottles or not, I'm not sure what those are for, since I had pretty much no idea what I was doing). Unfortunately, this game is also very addicting, somehow.. 1/10 (.5/5 rounds to 1/5)
Story: Why was I a guy jumping from building to building collecting bottles? No story here. Just a basic 'you are trapped in the world of buildings' in the tutorial (which you don't have) would've been nice. 1/10
Interface: I liked the day and night system, but nothing else for the interface. 4/10
Overall: Needs a lot of improvement.
4/10 2/5
Edit: YoYogames has a huge problem with their stars. I did NOT give this game 1 in everything.
