Pros: Is awesome!! It can be tweeked to work for ANY game that includes an overworld (not just pokemon). Also, with a minor code edit in the textbox object (I'm pretty sure), and possibly obj_controller (I changed it so long ago I forgot what it's called), to
Cons: The pokemon font that's in the online game is not included with the .gmk file, and will default to the font Arial if the pokemon font's not installed on the computer. That, and some of the code is complicated (but just a very small portion of it).
An Awesome OverWorld Engine!
This is an overworld engine that is meant for Pokemon games, but can be used to make any game with an overworld much more easily (I should know, I'm making a Zelda-Style game with this engine as a base). It's for GM Pro, but can easily be edited to work with the Lite edition, it's really only a few lines of code for 2 objects (textbox and obj_controller I'm pretty sure). Overall, It's awesome.
