Why all the Hate? This game is Great!

I saw a link to this on Brawl in the Family and was curious about what this game was like. Seems like that site has alot of creative people on it (See comic I based screen name on). I was very impressed with how true Staredit was to the Kirby style, but how original his gameplay was. Don't get me wrong, it's not perfect, but a few tweaks could make this game feel very professional.

The author seems to be working on the story from the posts he has made elsewhere, and thats good. Games need stories these days, ya know? Just because Kirby got away with it in his debut doesn't mean staredit can get away with it now!

Otherwise, my biggest complaint is that everything kills you. At least TELL us that. It's a shocker! I know he is going for an Rtype feel, but i didn't expect that out of Kirby, and I'm betting most others didn't either.

Overall? very good. Exactly the kind of game a fan should make. Simple, straightforward, and flashy!
