Klonoa: Is Life a Dream? Review

Pros: music, sprites, sounds

Cons: level design, game speed, enemy AI, boss, animations

what the

everything was too fast, and by that i mean if you miss a jump because you overpassed it, then it would cause you to go back to the beginning. AI do just about nothing, and since the physics are hyper-accelerated then you might as well jump past them since jumping seems to be the main point of the game, and even then you will fall too fast to recover. in the boss battle, i found several areas where the boss can be hit while i hide and laugh at the pitiful attempts to kill me. the first level is jump or die, the second is jump or die, and the third is perform the desired task or die a horrible death by bullet. focus on developing levels that actually match the difficulty, meaning that the first level should not be so difficult.
