      Close extra programs that are running that you're not using, and if there's still a lot of lag when it's the only thing running, your computer might just too old.
      But I know computers with old (DirectX 8) graphics cards and 400mb of RAM can run this game fine if it's the only program running.

      With GameMaker open, hit F1, click the tab that says "Index" in the window that opens, and the fourth result should say "3D graphics". Open that. :D
