Thanks for the comments, i recently found a way to speed the game up a HEAP (by having game maker handle the collisions not my scripts) so any newer games with the triangle thing will be better
and about sounds..... i can never find any, most of the time i get the click from the sounds that coeme with game maker and i speed it up. If you can give me a link to gunshot sounds or anything it would be great.
