A Review
Really... this might be one of the best (definately the most professional) game ive played thats come from Gamemaker.
"Wootman" doesnt take itself seriously (Hense the title), even though it could. A fun little feature is the random comments made by the characters as they die or kill something, especially that little dog creature on the junkyard levels.
The art style is very precise, but not cluttered... really nice; the levels feel really industrial and the music accompanies this. The explosions look great!
The sound... also great. The music is really retro and doesnt take over. I ended up humming it while playing without even noticing. It fits the game perfectly. Sound effects are also there, but again merge well.
The small cutscene at the beginning of the game was a really great addition too, very pro. The game plays seamlessly between levels. I never once thought "hmm this doesnt work".
If this was made and released on the 360... then i'd play it always in my spare time.
I kinda feel bad about giving this almost a full 5 stars... surely something has to be wrong. But I dont think it is...

That's what I was thinking when I wrote my review. "Surely there's got to be something about it to give it less than 5 stars, but I ended up giving all categories 5 stars except the story which got 4.
