A Ghost's Revenge Review

Pros: Good rewards system
Cons: Quickly made, short, too easy, unsuitable graphics
This game needs some more work.
The rewards system in this game is probably one of its strongest features. Eating dots increases the score by five points, and performing tasks such as rescuing ghosts increses the score by about fifty. The music is okay and the control scheme does not need any alterations.
This game seems quickly made. It is very short, consisting of five levels and a bonus round and the game objects simply disappear when touched, without sound or animation. The sprites and backgrounds are obviously taken from Game Maker and many of them are unsuited to the game. For instance, the background used in the boss level hampers gameplay due to its movement and PacMan is not played on a wooden board. The enemies in the game are also too weak. Hitting one enemy object subtracts five points from the total score, the same amount gained by eating one dot. Therefore, unless the player tries to obtain the highest score possible the enemies in the game are highly ineffective.
Overall, A Ghost's Revenge makes PacMan seem highly incompetant at his job and the sole reason to play this game is to get a high score.

This is my first game. Quickly made, yes. The reason it is quickly made is because I wanted to test out what I can do, and the game turned out good in my opinion. I might be updating the how much the enemies take off. in the future. Also in the future for other platform games I might add some enemies the can shoot.
Thank you for reviewing my game so that I know how to make future games better.
