Lobster Pots Review

Pros: Neat game that doesn't rehash 'kill 'em all' as its theme
Cons: There's more gamble involed with the final result than player skill. Also I suspect the high score tables been hacked.
Neat little game
A neat little game. I rated it at a six because I think it hit all the authors goals on the head - well presented, smoothly delivered, the desired gameplay implemented. Gameplay is as quick as you want it, which has alot going for it given all the games these days that pad out play with endless walking/grinding.
Sadly though, there is more gamble to the whole thing than player skill. If you know a few maths terms, you will be more powerful in this game than other people. But really you rely more on luck than skill. Which is okay, but it makes you wonder if it's worth typing anything, sometimes.
Note: In terms of the story rating, I think it's kind of stupid to have a story rating - the author didn't really intend to have a story, so why rate him as if he did. Still, I give it a three because it does have a down to earth 'earn your living' sort of theme.

Thanks very much for the long review! And it is possible to get at least 20,000 if you have good luck and gamble towards the end of the two weeks.
