Crazy Friends 2 Review

Pros: Special abilities, easy to use controls, addictiveness, well designed menu.
Cons: No music in-game, slight problem with the HUD.
A great improvement ...
First off I have to say that this is a great improvement on the original Crazy Friends! ^__^ Well done.
The graphics were excellent, the title screen was well desgined and it quickly familiarises the player before they start, especially with the controls displayed on it. The F1 help file fitted the game's look perfectly as well.
The "Crazy Friends" add a little bit of a story element to the game but I haven't included the story mark in the overall rating because this isn't the kind of game to have a story.
You've done an impressive job on the gameplay by adding a wide range of abilities (which make it so much more fun to play) but still keeping the difficulty level the same (putting your own high score straight on to the list was a good idea).
But I can't give the graphics a 6/6 because the bar you used to display how many shells you've loaded is a pixel too wide for the box you put it in - it sticks out at the right.
I also think you could improve this by adding in some (quiet) background music on the main game, probably something different to the music on the title screen so it creates a different atmosphere.
And lastly, since the title screen cursor IS a cross-hair after all, why not make the friends you put on there shootable, along with the UFO?
it would add a professional feel as well as a little fun. ^__^
